RFP signal in NCAA mechanics

Question:

In NCAA mechanics, does the Referee still signal the ball ready-for-play before every play, or has this been eliminated in situations where the 40-second play clock is running?

I realize the RFP is still used to start the 25-second play clock following a clock stoppage in certain situations, but I'm asking specifically about situations where the 40-second play clock is in use.
