it's easier when there is a crowd just to keep walking. It's also easier at a Varsity level to keep walking but JV can be a little different atmosphere here. Sometimes the parents are right on the sidelines with the teams (as it was in this case) and, if it's a low pressure, friendly contest, there are conversations between plays about the score, time left, etc.
One of the crew members said, "it's a secret" and we kept walking. She responded with "well, it won't be when I call tomorrow and report you." It's weird because in my years of officiating, I usually know when someone is upset. We still don't know why that person or one of the coaches was mad at us. Had the same two teams for the JV game on Saturday and it went off without a hitch ![]() |

I always wonder who exactly they plan to report me to and what exactly they think that person is going to do.
