Penalty enforcement

NF 1st and ten from A20. Running play moves the ball to A25, tackled there. B33 holds at A30. Add ten yards to end of the run, right?

Thanks

Yes it you would as this is a running play, so you go to the end of the run.

Peace

On a running play, the basic spot is the end of the run. Under "all but one," enforce B fouls from the basic spot. The result will be A 1/10 from the –40.

CANADIAN RULING:

10 yard from PLS.

It'd have to be a great hold to flag as it was 5 yards ahead of Point Ball Dead. It's quite possible that this hold had little to do with the play.

Really?

QB drops to pass, but intended receiver is held. He has to scramble & gets sacked for a 5 yard loss. That sure a heck had a major impact on the play.

that may be true, but that isn't the play in the OP....in the OP it was a running play, with defensive holding in advance of the run. It isn't even in the same ball park as holding an eligible receiver.....
