It's not a situation where you have a choice. If your state association says certain actions result in an ejection, then you'd be smart to follow that policy. Otherwise, when the opposing coach sends the video in and asks why the player wasn't ejected, your season is going to be over.

As for their attire, I couldn't care less what people do to keep warm. Cold is relative to where you live. A 35 degree night might be great star gazing weather for you northerners but I remmeber a post on this board where a Florida official said he wears long sleeves when it hits 60.

There's no NCHSAA policy against coats. As my white hat says "I'm not getting cold or sick for any of you."
