NCAA: it must stay on the R side of the line or be acted upon by something else. I did have a game several years ago where, as HL, I saw a kick cross the line barely (in the air) but when K recovered it, they and the ball were on their side of the 50. R ball.

Our pregame discussion play this past week: K kicks line drive that bounces off R's pads and bounds back toward K's goal line. Mad chase for ball, unintentional bats and kicks (no fouls), and ball ends up behind K's goal line OOB. Ruling?
