kicks

Hey guys i am new here and starting in FEB I will be going to clinics to become a highschool football ref. I have my 2007 rule book and looking through it but I find a few things not to be clear to me. Now i do know some of the rules for I played and my son also played. the question I have is what is the defference of a free kick and scrimmage kick?

Free Kick = Kickoffs
Scrimmage Kick = Punt/FG (place kick)

Good Luck at your clinic
