See if you can get a video of the game and show the committee the situation that led to the ejections...perhaps the losing team had someone film the game?

If they don't back you, then you and anyone you know should not do this league. In FED rules, there are no appeals. Don't lower your standards to their level.

I never do non-school leagues for reasons such as this one.

One thing I learned is stick exactly to the facts. They wrote about holds and stuff missed. That has nothing to do with the ejection so you need to question the ingelligence of the committee.

I had my very first DQ last Friday night in my 10th season of working football, my 4th as a varsity high school referee.

In our case we had a player grab a facemask and his opponent punched him. The player who grabbed the facemask was missed by the covering official but he clearly saw the punch. We're confident it was a "miss" on the facemask because the opposing coach came up to me and said "my kid had his facemask but your linesman didn't see it."

The home coach wanted to know had my HL saw the facemask would his player still be ejected. I told him if there was a facemask and the HL saw it, the only change in the outcome would have been a double foul and the opponents wouldn't have got a first down because the down would be replayed.

We stuck to the facts and that's what we put in the game report (#10 punched his opponent in the head). In your situation, if they want to bring up other stuff that had nothing to do with the DQ, then I wouldn't even respond. Not because I have an attitude problem, but it appears they want to start some kind of dialog that has nothing to do with the DQ and they are questioning your ability to call a contest. At least that's my take on it.
