defensive end question?
Today was opening day, my first little leauge game. This kid who played left tackle all day, would line up on the right side as a tight end from time to time and made a few catches in the first half. Second half rolls around, all of a sudden, when this kid moves to tight end, the defensive end is told to tackle him right off the ball. I asked my head official if it was legal, and he really didn't know. No call was made, and he didn't make a catch the rest of the day. Didn't matter in the outcome, but I was wondering what is the right call?

Without seeing it is hard to tell what should be called. It "could" be holding because there is some contact that is allowed if the defender is trying to be blocked. It sounds like holding, but that does not mean that is what took place.
Peace
