NCAA: Kickoff goes OOB
With this year's rule change, on 1st down, does the clock start on the ready?
So the ball going OOB is of no consequence?

On first down when B is starting a new series after a COP the clock starts on the ready. This is one of those times.

Just in case this wasn't covered bacl in July, lets says team-B wants to accept the penalty and have team-A rekick.
Now, when do you all think the clock will start per rule and not per what some conference supervisors might have told ya. |
