Under NCAA rules this would APPEAR to possibly be targeting (QB becomes defenseless when in grasp of other 2 players) and contact may be to head or neck area and is forcible. Again, not 3D and not the greatest angle, so can't make a definitive ruling here. NCAA now allows a non-flagrant targeting foul to be a 15 yard penalty with no ejection as long as its the first targeting foul on the offender. I would definitely go that route but not rule out the ejection in my game.
NFHS may vary, of course. I don't think you can clearly judge flagrant or not through the video unfortunately. |

You're right. I got ahead of myself and mixed the new NCAA replay rules with Texas HS UIL changes. Haven't had any targeting calls on the field this year.
