NFHS: When Does a Kick Try End?

Doesn't the umpire sound the whistle just after the try is kicked?

Depends on your locale/crew. I'm the R on my crew and I blow the whistle.

Ok. My point is that the try is pretty much ended at the point. It's either good or no good.

In my former association, they had the HL blow the whistle as it crossed the line. Now, our BJ blows the whistle.

On my former crew, they would have me do it at U.

Now I hit it as R.

"Behind" from A's perspective, I guess. Funny that when I read that, I took it as from the perspective of the player. But it wouldn't make much sense to allow it only on B's side of the ENZ.

Still nothing against their attempting a 2-handed "save", though, huh?
