is this correct?

I know there are different rules on this but just wanted to check.

There is a section further down the article referenced above that refers to the old free throw rule (can't enter the lane until the ball hits...) that was changed this year to state that the six players along the side of the lane, in marked lane spaces, can enter the lane to rebound as soon as the ball is released for a free throw.

There was a good list started by Billy Mac a few years ago that addressed quite a few of these misunderstood rules.
