No mileage. Longest one way trip for anyone in my little corner of Connecticut is about 50 miles. Most trips are about 15-20 miles, one way.
Board dues about $125.00 annually.
7% assignment fee.
We get a raise every year equal to the average teacher salary increase in the State of Connecticut.
Why wouldn't they just round up or down to the nearest whole dollar amount? $93.19? What's the .19 for? Knowing CT...probably to offset a whistle tax or something equally obscure.

Probably due to the yearly percentage increase tied to teacher's salaries.. Over a few years, since the rounding that would be applied to each game rather than a season total, it could lead to the loss (or gain) of several dollars per game relative to the non-rounded amount.

Bingo. I see that you are very familiar with taxes in Connecticut. If it can be taxed, we tax it, whether it's nailed down, or not.

We get cold beer after games at a private prep school here in my little corner of Connecticut.

*Hmmm, oh really? but I'd still prefer our trailmix, and orange slices--Catholics are such nice folks and the parish rector is there at games and also sister mary alice robers--who are also nice folks.
Next time I will go to confession.

Beer makes me piss too much, plus I'd be too worried about my public image as "official" and also very scared to get pulled over for dui driving home from the games.
But I'm sure you jest

For one beer? Nothing tastes better than an ice cold can of beer (the athletic director offers us a cooler filled with ice containing a few cans of ice cold beer, and soda) immediately after working a game.

And I'm not kidding. It's true.
