I have many friends Tony, not ones that are on a discussion board.

Tony,

Well Tony, I do not know anyone from Gape Girardeau stepping up to the plate to answer his questions. So whatever is said about this topic up to that point is pure speculation. If you feel I did not answer his question the way you think I should have, get over it. I do not care what area is is moving to, he needs to contact the folks from that area and find out what they have done in the very same situation. Those are the only folks that can really answer his question one way or another. One of the reasons I did not come here asking about "who I should talk to or what I should do," when I moved about 4 years ago. That is what Association Presidents and Athletic Directors are for.

I will remember to consider your fragile feelings on the next post Tony.

Tony,

So instead of saying, "Oops, you got me. I guess I missed that line" you try to say Tony doesn't know anything about Missouri. Classic. Really. That's right out of Rut 101. Beautiful. (Can you say ad hominem?)

Let me get this straight. So I want to make sure that the individual that post does not get the cart before the horse, and I should have said, "Oops, you got me?" So when whistleone might be assuming he is going in one situation, when it might easily be another, I am suppose to respond as "Oops you got me?" I will make sure the next time I check with you before I post. I will make sure I check with two fools that live no where near a State I live, what I should say to say to anyone about what goes on. You guys have a lot to learn about things that go on outside of your jurisdiction.

WOW!!!

Peace

No, no, Rut. Of course not. All I'm saying is that when you make a completely false comment (for example,
Quote:
"he did not list the exact area that he relocated to,").
and then somebody points out that you just made a completely false comment (for example, by pointing out that the original poster had actually said,
Quote:
"I'm moving to Cape Girardeau."),
then you say, "Oops, you got me". Because I think. . . hold on, let me double check. . . yup, he did get you!! So admit it, have a laugh with the rest of us and move on. Because, believe it or not, you -- GASP!! -- made a mistake.

Well, Rut, I'm not going to stoop to insults. But I will point out that Tony's correction of your post has absolutely nothing to do with what goes on outside of his "jurisdiction" (other than what you typed). The only thing that Tony's post pointed out was that you read whistleone's post too quickly and missed his comment about where exactly "he was relocating to" [sic]. If you can't even acknowledge a small mistake like that, then you have a lot to learn about being a man.

Just my two cents. Have a great holiday.

I have a right to assume things, just like Tony and yourself do. And my assumtion, is that he did not talk to all the people he needed to. Why you might ask? He is coming to the very last place you should come to ask about local issues, and that is anywhere on the internet. If you want to find something out about a local official's association or how you get games, you talk to the people that have experience with that. Maybe he had done all that, but it was not clear to me by his post. And it was not clear, because in my opinion, that is something you would have already found out from the locals, not from us who might not even live in Missouri. But instead of that just being what it was, I have the "Master for North Carolina" sticking his beak in a discussion where he lives hundreds miles further away than myself. Just like a discussion on the football board, Tony the Tiger sticking his comments about things that are not in his back yard. I think all the "Association hoes" should tell me how we do things in our backyard. If he wants to control everyone's thoughts and comments, why not become a moderator. You too Chuck, you guys know every freakin things, why not become a moderator and then you can control all the posts that do not fit your philosophy. You can tell everyone what is realistic about when it comes to being a pro official (probably cannot name one in any association you belong currently), you can tell everyone what rules should be highlighted in their area, because the NF says so and you can tell everyone what kind of partners they can decide to work with. You might be happier that way.

Peace

whistleone, sorry but I've never worked under a system where I had to find my own games. Good luck!

Chuck, I guess if things don't happen in our own "backyard," we aren't allowed to discuss them. So much for a national or international discussion board.

Well I have, but you seem to think you know more that I do about that kind of system, which I have direct and personal experience with.

Whistleone, just direct all your questions to Tony. He seems to know more about it than the people that live in the area you are moving to.

Peace
