Sounded Familiar

Here's a question from our state's exam last year which is similar:

2. A4 is dribbling the ball in the front court near the division line. Defender B5 slaps the ball into the air. The ball crosses the division line into the backcourt where A4 catches it before the ball touches the floor. Which statement is false?

A. This would NOT be a backcourt violation if the ball had touched the floor before being recovered by A4
B. This is NOT a backcourt violation since B5 caused the ball to go into the backcourt
C. This is a backcourt (over-and-back) violation
