In these parts some schools play GV & BV same night in same gym. Its not uncommon to be assigned both games back to back or to be assigned a JV & V back to back. You have to just accept the fact that you will have to run faster from the get go, make sure you get into position, and be patient enough to see the play through. This makes the transition easier. In any given week I'll work 8 - 12 games ranging from 9/10 rec up to 5A varsity. Working a variety of games also makes the transition easier.
