Once the try is over, of course.

So it would be the same as if there's a foul underneath while a three point shot is in the air, right?

I guess I just threw myself off with the whole shooter thing...

Is a player who has released the ball on a try and returned to the floor still a shooter?

Nice Missouri reference. If I had pictures of these officials, Then I could show you. I guess if I did that, then I would not be officiating any more games.
