What did you think of Tony's block/charge call APG?

I thought it was a charge. I think Steve Javie had it right when he said the lead had the best look at the play.

Would be nice to know what play and and what result you 2 are talking about.

Good call based on NBA rules

I disagree...I thought he got to the spot right before the upward motion by Wade. Steve Javie was asked about this call right after it happened, and though he didn't come right out and say it was wrong, he didn't say it was the right call and said the lead had a better look at the play (at least IMO implying the call was incorrect w/o flat out saying it).

What you have written will now be the debate on block/charge plays at the NCAA level. There will not be any more clarity, just a different point of contention.

I got Duncan still with his right foot in the air when D-Wade's starts his upward motion.

Well, it's not official yet but remember to blame this one on NCAAM

At any rate, I was going to say the same thing. It'll be interesting to watch the kinks worked out of this one next season assuming the rule change is adopted.

Outside this debatable play, I thought these guys were consistent and worked well together......

Block - close, but block. Great call. Javie's right that Lead has a better look, but still a great call.

Game 2:

Crew Chief: Joe Crawford
Referee 1: Ed Malloy
Referee 2: Ken Mauer
Alternate: Marc Davis

Bonus fact: Game 1 was the first Finals game in 10 years that had zero three (or four)-point plays where the shooter was fouled and still made the shot. The last time there were zero in a game was in the 2003 Finals, game 2. Source.
