It just seems that we would be penalizing a team (losing some of their 10) for the defense tipping the ball away. We really shouldn't start the 10 until the team has control inbounds - just like on a rebound, or a ball tipped into backcourt by the defense, etc. |
Or rewarding the defense for making the tip...the offense is in control of where the ball will go from the moment they start the throw-in, so I don't see it as penalizing them.
