One thing that's been brought up on the broadcasts - and that the rules folks may talk about in relation to monitor reviews for time in the last minute: Allowing teams to get together with their coaches during those reviews.
In the Davidson/Marquette and St. Mary's/Memphis games the monitor reviews created free time outs for both Marquette and St. Mary's when neither had any remaining. It didn't help St. Mary's but it obviously helped Marquette...and yes, I know if Davidson hits its normal 80% from the line instead of going 14-22 it's not an issue but it still creates an advantage not intended by the rules.
