I'll stab...
I've gotten about 15 dvds from my HS games this year.
Step 1 is to 'rip' the dvd... that is to convert it to an .m4v file. I use the open source utility HandBrake to do this. Step 2 is import the .m4v file into iMovie. Step 3 is to 'clip' plays in iMovie and export as .m4v files. I prefer the "real-time","real-time", "slow motion" format. Step 4 is to upload to the web. I upload to Dropbox and share files there via Facebook with local officials. JetMetFan and APG share by uploading to YouTube. I'm no wiz at it, but its pretty straightforward.
