It should be noted that these steps are for Apple users but the general steps are the same.
I rip files into .mp4 files rather than .m4v files. If you're using YouTube to upload your games, I think it's better to use .mp4 as I believe they transcode it to that format anyhow. Also, instead of using iMovie, I used Windows Movie Maker.
