Don't like the call. But waving off the shot was proper b/c A1 travels before releasing the ball.

It's entirely possible that either the block caused the travel, or the block was before the travel.

Can't really tell from any of the angles.

I believe that's what I'm saying. Waving off the shot was PROPER b/c A1 travels before releasing the ball.

B has LGP right from the beginning of the drive to the hoop, and did nothing to lose LGP. No foul; just good defense.

It looks to me like the foul happens while the player is in the air on his jump stop. If so, even if the jump stop were legal, the shout should still be waved off. "Foul, land and then jump to shoot" is not "fouled while in the act of shooting", imo.

What act do you think constitutes a block? The arm extension?

Last part of video shows a definite travel, that's what I'd go with here. Reward the defender, he did nothing wrong. Sound like from Pac, that was his 5th foul.

Too me there wasn't a foul in the first place That's why I say at least he waved off the shot. Giving him partial credit.

Correct. It was the defender's 5th foul.
