Sign of the Apocalypse.
Everybody knows that I think that Alternating Possession is an abomination upon the game but this is definitely a sign of the apocalypse: Jersey ads nearing reality for NBA
MTD, Sr. P.S. FIBA has allowed advertisements on jerseys for a number of years now.

Wouldn't bother me at all, really, unless they start flopping and crying like Euro soccer players as well.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to investigate further that link on the right side of that story.... |

Given the title I was thinking he was going to post that XXXXX was right about something (I'll allow you to fill in the blank as there are several good options).

On OUR Shirts . . .
I just wanna have them put our Twitter account on the back of our striped shirts so that maybe, just maybe, the parents in the stands would tone down their vociferous, one-sided, shaded, favoritism-laden, screaming criticisms about how their little Johnny's or Sally's team is getting unfairly reamed by the officials.
Perhaps then, they'd be so busy texting during the game there might be some kinda civility restored in the cheap seats. Then we could just review their comments on our cell phones after we get home and all comfy in the recliner and have a good laugh then. OK, cynical rant over. Back to game video review.....

Can't Live With Them, Can't Live Without Them ...
The WNBA has been doing this for a few years.

I thought this Thread was going to be that you walked into a gym and saw Padgett in an OT game!

Stupid Carolina Hurricanes ...
Hey. Here in the Constitution State, we're very proud of our Connecticut Sun. With the exception of the PGA's Tour Travelers Championship, and the New Haven Open at Yale womens professional tennis championship, the Sun is the only major league team that we have. And the Hartford Whalers are never coming back.
