Fan Interference, Part II
Maybe it's more "fan participation."
Didn't want to steal the other thread, as it is interesting discussion. Let me know your thoughts about this one: Second half of VG game. A1 goes up for a shot and is fouled by B1. A1 hits the floor hard and appears to be in some distress/discomfort. A's Coach stays on bench, but Dad comes out of the stands directly behind the bench and onto the floor to tend to daughter. Players go to benches, but stay on the court. NO TO is requested or granted by A's coach. A1 recovers after 10-15 secs and is helped off the court by dad. She is slightly limping. A1 goes to the side/behind the bench to "walk it off" for a few secs. TWEET! Time to resume play. Coach A wants to discuss A1's status. Do you: 1) Let A1 stay in the game to shoot the foul shots? 2) If not, what if Coach A takes a TO to keep A1 in the game? 3) Based on other thread, do you do anything to dad?

When the parent comes on the court, I'm beckoning the coach. A1 is now not eligible to play, whether or not the coach responds to my beckoning, until a tick of the clock or A is granted a timeout.
Dead ball so I don't draw any comparison to the fan on the court in the other thread.

Once the dad comes onto the court, the coach is auto-beckoned. Whether he comes onto the court or not is his choice. A1 will need a sub or A uses a TO to keep her in the game.
The dad can stay.
