No. If coach isn't aware enough to take him out of the game, you have tools to do so yourself if need be.

No, not directly. At the youth level I have at times spoken to coach quietly if a player's behavior is becoming an issue. The smart coaches know that's an opportunity to address it/sub for the player before I take care of business.

Most of them take the opportunity.
