Book not completed properly
Just before the opening tip of a girl's varsity game played under NCAA rules, the coach of team A brings to my partner's attention that a player on the floor for team b is not one of the five players checked off as a starter for team B in the book. Is there a penalty for this infraction? If there is a penalty what is it?

First, there's nothing wrong with the book.
Ask the coach to send the correct starter to the floor. Play ball.

Team technical foul...or tell the coach to send the proper starter out there.

Coach B gets a choice -- put in the starter marked, or be issued a T and have the girl on the floor start.
