Pre-game warmup question
Both teams are out for their pregame and with whatever minutes to go in warmups team A leaves the floor. At that point do you allow team B to shoot at both baskets.
Can someone site something in the book by any chance. Who am I kidding. I've been on here long enough to know that someone will do that. Thanks.

Check with your local area. We have had our state define what they want them to do and they do not want teams practicing on both sides. But as stated there is no actual rule against this, but there might be some local standards that are not listed in your rulebook.
Peace

Do a google search for the NFHS PowerPoint presentation on the rules changes from the past two seasons.
There is a slide in both of them which states that a team is NOT allowed to use the other half of the court in the pregame warmup even if the opposing side has left the floor. |
