Iowa State vs. Kentucky

How about the travel call on Kt.at the 5:35 mark left in the second half. It looks like to me that he traveled when he caught the ball but the official was pretty slow and didn't ring him up until he stopped his dribble which didn;t look like a travel to me. thoughts? Video would obviously help.

Travelled when he caught. Travelled again just before he passed it.

Mechanic to indicate the defender didn't keep his arms vertical.

So we can use it now? It's sanctioned?

Best way to actually describe how a defender committed the foul.

I agree, I use it as a prelim to explain those particular calls, but it was used tonight AT THE TABLE. Every idiot UK fan its going to see that and have their "over the back" complaints justified. Ugh

If it's done as a prelim (and I personally wouldn't), then I don't see the problem with using it at the table. When I've seen people use it, it's only for a situation where a defender violates verticality by bringing his arms down on an opponent.
