Let's just say that if it's something you aggressively look for you're not going to be seen as a top official by anyone that matters. Or as someone once said, "If three seconds is your best call, you're in trouble."

Thanks For The Help ...

Yesterday's prep school game. Post player has the ball in the lane for a few seconds after a couple of pump fakes. He passes the ball out to a guard on the wing, and he stays in the lane. Guard receiving the pass yells to his teammate, the post player, to get out of the lane. Post player doesn't follow the guard's instructions.

I sounded my whistle. Anybody want to guess why I sounded my whistle? I'll give you three guesses.
