BV last night, visitors score, Home team player grabs the ball off the floor right under the net and takes off heading down the court. I'm new trail. After his first step, I yell take the ball out. I guess I should have just continued my 5 second count instead and then called the violation. I've seen this a hundred times in 3-6th level play, and I say it all the time, but wish I wouldn't have said anything last night. Visiting coach was all over me and was saying that's a violation!! Why didn't you call it? I said, "not sure the player broke any rules, I should have kept my mouth shut." I feel in my gut it was a violation but I can't pinpoint where I kicked it.
