Team foul question

The only caveat to that rule is that if an offensive foul puts a team over the limits we don't shoot the free throws.I still have to remind myself of that every now and again.

I'm sure that you mean a team control foul, or a player control foul. If you're going to post on a referee forum, you have to speak referee. I would never try to post on a scorekeeper forum, because, you guessed it, I don't speak scorekeeper.
