Just want to make sure I understand, if he is passing=team control=no shots; but if he was shooting=player control=shots??

In NCAAM -- a PC fouls does NOT include contact by an airborne shooter (by definition after the try is released).

In NCAAW and FED, a PC foul includes a foul by an airborne shooter, even though there is no player control at that time.
