I like the uniforms, but on guys that need to lose weight, they look bad. Fortunately, I am not one of them....

Jeremy are you referring to the standard grey shirts or these special ones? Have you seen them in person?

I was thinking the same thing, but since I've never seen anyone in one of those shirts, I just didn't think they'd look any worse than any other overweight official in any other shirt.

Was at that game pictured and the uniforms themselves are not bad, but the sleeve length is long (down to the elbow). From what I have gathered, the UIL put these shirts out just for the state tourney. We certainly did not wear anything like this during the season. If I were to guess, I would say that since some chapters are wearing different style greys (I saw one chapter wearing greys with panels during an early playoff game), or some still in black and white, that UIL wanted uniformity during state. Plus, they got to put some more UIL patches on there. At least each official got their own uniform number (back of the jersey had a number, just like the NBE).
