Then why is it still on in reruns? Here's one for you. A channel here in Portland still runs Perry Mason reruns M-F at noon. They've been doing this for something like 40 years (not kidding). Whenever anyone asks them when they're going to stop, their reply is, "when people stop watching it".

She started her career with a role in the 1929 movie "New Year's Eve". She died in 1980. Her younger brother, Arthur Lake, played Dagwood Bumstead in the Blondie movies.
