I've got the Storm, and it allows me to view arbiter, but the functionality isn't that great and I haven't figured out how to get it to remember my password. Others said the browser for blackberry doesn't work well with Arbiter, so I use Opera.

I just tried to get on with my Curve and it said I didn't have Javascript. I'm no expert when it comes to phones...for now I think I'll stick to my laptop

I also have a Storm and it let's me view and accept assignments, but I can't block dates. It also won't remember my password, says that it needs Javascript and is hard to see. However, for those crunch times when you need to look up your schedule on the go or onsite...it can be helpful.

Exactly, but I haven't figured out how to view and accept assignments. It might be that viewing is so hard I just don't bother. It has helped in a crunch, though, to find addresses.

My BlackBerry Pearl will access the site but will not allow me to navigate. Very frustrating. Next phone purchase will be an iPhone.

If the iPhone becomes available through Verizon, I'll consider it. In the meantime, I'm going to find out how my friends like the Droid before I upgrade next year.

Not possible without a major redesign. The iPhone is a GSM phone; Verizon has a CDMA network.

WARNING: Stoopid person asking stoopid question - Is "EDGE" a "network" in the same manner as "GSM" and "CDMA"? When I'm in rural areas, my Berry goes from EDGE to GSM. Even when I'm in EDGE, I cannot navigate ArbiterSports.com.

No, EDGE is 2G and contrasts with 3G. Both GSM and CDMA can operate in 2G or 3G (or, soon, 4G).

Hope that helps!

But do you have to wear those special glasses to operate it?

I'd be interested in hearing feedback you get about the Droid. I've heard nothing about it in terms of running the Arbiter.

Neither have I, as I don't have any friends that fit both categories. Next time I see my youngest brother, I'll steal his phone and log in to Arbiter and let you know.

I haven't been able to log into the Arbiter using the default browser on my Moto Droid. I can get in using Opera Mini 5 on the Droid and it works fine. I just wish I didn't have to install a third party browser only for this purpose. Maybe the 2.1 Android push that Verizon is pushing this week will alleviate my issue. We'll see.

They were called "X-RAY SPECS".

If you really want to still get all that stuff, try these guys. I've bought stuff from them for years. You can get on their catalog mailing list, too. It's really cool.

See what I mean? They were a WHOLE DOLLAR! I could get 20 packs of baseball cards for that!
