Dribble-Fumble wrong call

I know some officials struggle with the fumble-dribble-fumble concept (call) and I include myself in that group. However, I have made a concerted effort to not call a double dribble on the 2nd fumble.

However, I continue to witness this call being missed.

Would you ever go to your partner on this if in an area of double coverage you passed on the double dribble,(because of a fumble) but your partner called it?
If you convince him/her they are wrong by rule, then an IW? I am not talking about judgment calls, but a clear fumble that the rule is being applied wrong.

No, I wouldn't approach a partner on this.

DO NOT over rule during the game. Talk after the game.

Snag and Zoo,

Would you give the same answer if a different rule was misapplied during a game? Or is this specific to the OP?

Example of something that I would talk with partner to get correct. Partner calls a double foul while Team A is in control of the ball. Partner wants to use the AP arrow after the foul. I would step in to inform him/her that Team A would get the ball. Point of interuption (POE) would be how you apply the rule after a double foul.
There are a few other situations where I would step in. This is the only one for now.

I was answering with regard to the OP. If it's at all possible my partner saw something I didn't, I'm moving on. As lead, I've helped exactly three partners on BC calls. I've also blown some travel calls out of my area, and my partners were gracious enough to wait and discuss it with me later. To borrow a phrase from a newer member to the forum, "crew integrity" is just as important to the flow of a game as getting every call right.
