Team Control Foul
I was watching a GV game. A1 is driving to the basket along end line. A2 is screening B2 to allow A1 an open path to the basket and is called for a hold. Team B is in the bonus. They awarded B2 bonus free throws. I thought that would be a team control foul resulting in no free throws awarded.
If the ball was in the air when the foul was commited then I would award free throws. Do I understand this rule correctly? Similar situation. If A1 is inbounding ball and A2 is called for a hold is team B awarded freethrows if team B is in the bonus.
