Drawing a Lane Violation

NCAA rules.

A player is fouled and awarded free throws. The player has a weird, herky-jerky free throw stroke, with lots of twitches, starts, and stops. (Somehow, he still makes around 65% for the year.)

Early in the game, there is very little delay in his FT motion, but as the game goes on, he slows down -- so much so that opposing players are frequently drawn into the lane before the shot is released. (This year, opponents have been called for 23 lane violations on his free throws in 22 games.)

I found a FIBA rule that prohibits faking a free throw in an attempt to draw the defense into the key early. Is there a similar rule in the NCAA?

Thanks.
