I'm one that doesn't work off season ball. My reasons include a philosophical reason. It seems to me that summer ball around here is way too ragged. It gets real rough and when I call fouls I catch grief from everybody including my partners. So I stay away, hasn't negatively affected me yet but I'm getting to the point where I may be hitting the glass ceiling due my no summer ball policy. I could live with the schedule I got last year for the rest of my officiating career.

Though I am going to a teaching camp in about 3 weeks put on by my local Assoc....

I stay in shape year round. Running, spin classes, weights, and I play tournament tennis from April to October. So by basketball season I'm in my usual fighting shape and ready to go.

I think I can speak for alot of us here- when I say you're a yo yo...

Spin classes....stationary bikes where all the hot mommies hang out to make sure they don't become plump mommies.
