I had a similar experience in a football game. One of the dads (a former Division 1A football All-American) came down on the field and the coach (a father of another Division 1A football All-American, and a Big 8 All-Conference selection during his own college days, married to a former Olympian) said, "Doctor, can you take a look at this?" Without hesitation, the good doctor took a look at the kid. I felt in awe because all three are associated with the University of Nebraska. My white hat looked at me and said how often are we gonna stand on the same field with these three again???
