Sadly enough, not only did I know this, I STILL have the cassette with the song.

Hey...
Jenny, Jenny who can I turn to
You give me something I can hold on to
I know you'll think I'm like the others before
Who saw your name and number on the wall
Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)

Jenny, Jenny you're the girl for me
You don't know me but you make me so happy
I tried to call you before
But I lost my nerve
I tried my imagination
But I was disturbed

Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)

I got it (I got it), I got it
I got your number on the wall
I got it (I got it), I got it
For a good time call

Jenny don't change your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny I've got your number
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)

Hey...
Jenny don't change your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny I call your number
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)

Jenny, Jenny who can I turn to
For the price of a dime
I can always turn to you
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)
8 6 7-5 3 0 9 (8 6 7-5 3 0 9)

My brothers favorite song for forever. He even drove about 4 hours, one way, to Disneyland to hear it live.

A couple of weeks ago someone tried to auction the number off on Ebay.....Sad to hear about the cassette dude. Move into the 20th century.

I don't think they had cassettes in the 19th century. At least, I don't remember any.

After talking to my partners, we waved the shot off because the player didn't tap the ball in, but instead caught and shot the ball. The losing coach wants an explanation on why the bucket didn't count and didn't like my answer, but went on to the locker room. Meanwhile, while in the dressing room, a mom, (ex-official basketball official) wants my name and number so she can call and complain to MSHSAA. I told her to get out of my face and she had no right to talk to me after a game. WE had a little mob after the game, but the police were on hand and they escort us to our cars. Never seen this happen before, but glad the police was on hand.

Why didn't calling official wave this off initially? Were you coming out of a TO, where you had time to discuss this prior to inbounding? An initial wave off would have been more palatable to the angry mob. Bottom line you were correct, but a little preventative medicine would have helped assuage things

That said, I'm sitting here in my office having the luxury of reflecting back to what you should have done.

Actually the song was in the 80s. Eight-track was gone by then (when the song came out).

Peace

About the time my short term memory quit working, ...because of the '60s.:(
