I was watching the game last night with my 6 year old son, and when he saw the play, he turned to me as said, "you dont do that right dad." Even he knew you shouldnt do that, I thought it was a good call and surprised it took as long as it did to decide, and the announcers were on top of it and agreed with the ruling.

ya, at first i thought it might have been accidental judging by Hodge's reaction, but the replay clearly shows that Hodge is looking down at Patterson's arm right before he steps on him, there's no way that was unintentional.
