You know, we get accused of punishing a kid for being big when we no-call this sometimes. That's an incorrect accusation.

In this case, you're actually going to do it. Don't punish the defender for not getting knocked on his a$$. At the risk of repeating myself....

That's stupid.

That's a chicken sh!t way to officiate, IMHO.

snaq both calls are horribly equal -- or equally horrible -- when all else is equal then go with the call that will have the least collateral damage.

A block, a charge, or a no call. How can any two of these be "equally horrible?"

the block or charge the 2 horrible calls -- in this case collateral damage would go with which call would have been the "most" accepted call in the gym. but either way i would not recommend making either.
