The conferences set the price. Some pay mileage, per deim, and some are flat fees. Prices may differ from men's to women's basketball.

That includes per diem and travel. Game fees are just "for the game."
Think about it from a typical HS official standpoint. We get $35/game for a Varsity Game (3-person). That doesn't include mileage ($0.585/mile). I called one VG game earlier this season (3-person), and made $148 (+/-). So I can say I made $148 for the game, but that would be misleading. That being said, I have a friend D1-Women's who said he went to work a tournament once (D1), and called two games. He received a check for just over $4500. Now that I could live with . . .
