I think the proper response would be because they "blow." What whistle do you use?

The regular Fox 40 Classic.

Those other damn whistles come apart and you end up finding the plastic is coming off and making the whistle useless. The life span of the Fox 40 are much longer (for me at least). I do not know why people like those things in the first place. To each his own.
