Part 1 - question #64

#64 The throw-in is at the designated spot nearest the violation after a goaltending violation by B1.



This statement is word for word from the 2002-03 test, to which the answer key said was true [7-5-2,3].



My opinion is that this statement should be FALSE however, because the points for the basket would be awarded for the violation and the thrower would have the privilege of running the baseline for the throw-in. The official would administer the throw-in by handing or bouncing the ball to the thrower. The action of moving along the baseline does not meet the requirements for the designated spot definition [4-42-6 note]. Am I missing something here?
