Or her claim that she was pushed and did not throw a punch was bogus as well. Leslie was clearly throwing punches as she went to the floor. The only reason this is a big deal is because some people are trying to make this into a gender issue. If this was a NBA game, there would be no issue as to who got involved and how.

Peace

This fight proves that women's sports in the United States has reached parity with men's sports. We do not need Title 9 anymore.

Just MHO, but your comment is not funny, and the picture you posted is worse. Those animals are trained to kill each other for sport. Why would post a picture of a felony that will get you sent to jail for 3 years? Great choice for an officiating website.

Mark,
I found your post and picture to be funny on any website. By the way, any conspiracy theorists think this was staged to get people to actually notice the WNBA? I can't say I knew they were playing until I saw the fight on the news.

Yup, same laws as dog fighting. And Michael something does know all about animal fighting laws.

We have people all over the world here (literally). It is not a crime in ever country and personally the attitude about fighting animals might not be my bag, but the overreaction to it all the time is in my opinion misplaced. I wish human beings would be more concerned with human beings than animals. JMHO.

Peace

I agree that there is often an overreaction to animal abuse stories, but I don't think that happened here. I merely -- and calmly -- asked why he would post such a picture on this website. And although cockfighting is not a crime all over the world, it is a felony in every state of the US that I know of, including Oregon, where Mark lives. Hopefully, I am not overreacting by simply stating again that such pictures are inappropriate to this site. I won't be insulted if you disagree, but that's my feeling.
