While we are talking about $$$ How much do you make?
I know that this topic has been covered in the past, but I am curious to know the avg. rates around the country. I will state that I live in the SW corner of Minnesota and I work 50-60 nights of Varsity basketball a year, both boys and girls. On average we earn around 90.00-100.00 a night for doing 2 games a night during the regular season. The rates apply for both 2 man and 3 man. Most of our games are done with 2, but 3 is becoming more and more common. When the playoffs arrive we are paid 75.00-85.00 for one game and mileage pay is included, which is 0.50 a mile. I know that this isnt something that we are going to get rich at, but was curious to know with the increase in gas prices around the country are you guys raising your rates? Thanks

St. Louis, MO area
Varsity 3 person $60 Varsity 2 person $66 JV/V doubleheader about $95 Not sure about the lower level but I would guess it is in the neighborhood of $45 a game. None of the schools in the metro area pay any travel expenses. If you get outside of the St. Louis metro area the fees drop off and most of the games are two person. However some schools do pay mileage. |
