foul- player control, during and before shot

Just some questions about these situations
If A1 is about to shoot and A2 sets an illegal screen, is the shot attempt canceled? I'm looking at when A1 shot won't count. Does the ball have to be released? Would there be a point when A2 foul would not be a team control foul?
2. If A2 sets the illegal screen while/before/ and after A1 is shooting and A1 gets fouled on the shot attempt what should be done?

If the foul is prior to the try being released, the ball is dead immediately and a successful try is cancelled.

2 - while/before: either way, blow the play dead, team control foul, B's ball at spot nearest the foul.

after try is released: common foul by A1. try counts if successful. B shoots FTs if in bonus. B's ball for throw-in if not in bonus.

Edit: Sorry, missed the part where you asked about a foul on A1 after the foul by A2. Read Juggling's response below.

When you say "about to shoot", I am assuming that the ball is still in the hands of A1 when A2 fouls B2. If so, then yes, the shot is cancelled. It is cancelled because the moment that A2 fouls B2, the ball is dead.

If the shot is released by A1 prior to A2's foul, then the basket will count if successful.

The event that separates A1's putting the ball through the hoop not counting and counting is his/her release of the ball.

There is no team control on a try, so when A1 releases the ball, A2's foul on B2 is subject to the bonus situation.

If A2 sets an illegal screen before A1's release, the ball is dead and A1's try is for naught. The contact against A1 is ignored unless intentional or flagrant.

If A2 fouls after A1's release, then you have a false double foul. If B is in the bonus, B2 shots the bonus situation with the lane cleared. Then go back to give A1 one, two, or three foul shots based upon if his/her try was successful. The lane is filled here and the game continues from the last foul shot: made or missed.

Yes, the shot would have to be released in order to count any basket. Continuous motion only applies to a foul by the defense. So if the shot has not been released, the foul would kill the opportunity for the basket to count in your situation.

If the ball was released then there is no team control and the basket would count if the ball goes into the hoop.

Before any release, the ball would be dead and you could only call a foul on the shooter if you deemed the action was intentional or flagrant. Then you would have to shoot FTs based on what kind of foul you called. The ball has been released and the illegal screen happen first, the same criteria would apply as stated above.

Common sense: Pick the first one and move on.

Peace

Lets see how bout we go to the basics

Ball is dead when there is a player control foul or team control foul.
Team control ends when the ball is in flight during a try or tap for goal..

If the team control happens A cant score. If the foul happens after the ball is inflight the foul is a non-team control foul and does not cause the ball to become dead immediately

in your 2
if A2 sets illegal screen before the shot ball is dead
if A2 sets illegal screen during shot the ball is either released or not. If not released it is before the shot.
if it is after the shot A1 is either airborne or not. If airborne two have two fouls, one on A2 and one on B fouling the shooter...
After the shot and not airborne, common foul on B common foul on A

You get to sort out the penalty
